Getting a Champions League final ticket means following the process for the particular edition you want to attend. There is no method that guarantees a seat, and prices, draws or deadlines from previous years should not be treated as current. Start by identifying the event and reading UEFA’s own information. This guide explains what to check before applying or buying; it does not announce an open sale or confirm ticket availability.
Start with UEFA’s official ticket portal
Go to UEFA.com/tickets, then follow the information and FAQs for the specific event. Check the year, competition, venue and application dates before entering any details. Old announcements can remain visible in search results long after their application window has closed, so the date on the page matters.
As a historical example, UEFA’s completed 2026 men’s final sales process used a public application window and lottery, alongside allocations for the finalist clubs. That past procedure does not establish the rules for a later edition. Read the conditions published with the event you intend to attend.
An application is not a confirmed purchase
Where applications are used, submitting one does not mean a ticket has been allocated. Find out how results are communicated, when payment is due and what happens if a step is missed. Keep messages and payment records associated with your account, and check your spam folder when the organiser says an update is expected.
Do not submit duplicate applications in an attempt to improve your chances without checking the rules. Ticket limits, categories, purchaser requirements and arrangements for guests belong to the event-specific conditions. Use those details when deciding whether to apply on your own or with a companion.
Check the finalist club’s information
A club reaching the final may publish its own process for its allocation. Visit the club’s official website and check who is eligible and how applications are prioritised. Supporting the team, registering for a fan account or buying tickets for a different match does not, by itself, establish eligibility for a particular final allocation.
Questions to resolve before payment
- Who is selling the ticket, and which exact event is it for?
- What is the total price and selected category?
- Which purchaser or attendee details must match the booking?
- What are the delivery, mobile-phone, transfer and official resale rules?
- What accessibility or companion arrangements apply if required?
Read the current conditions before accepting an outside offer, and ask UEFA about any uncertainty over validity or use. A screenshot, file or promise of later delivery is not, on its own, evidence that an admission ticket is valid. Entry and transfer arrangements can differ between editions.
Plan the trip around confirmed information
Keep the ticket budget separate from flights, accommodation and local transport. If you book travel before securing a ticket, understand the amendment conditions of each reservation. Make sure everyone travelling knows whether an application is still pending or a purchase has actually been completed.
For other Real Madrid fixtures, browse the Ticket Time catalogue and our matchday advice. Listings for those games do not establish availability for a European final. Treat each event as a separate booking and check its own conditions before committing.
